Espiral is a sumptuously soft, 2 ply yarn spun of 100% alpaca. Each skein is unique some with extended sections of marled twists, all with a striping effect.

Fiber content: 100% alpaca

Yardage: 165 yards (150 meters); approximately 100 grams (3.5 z)

Gauge: approximately 4-5 st/1″ using US #7 or 8 needles. But because of its warmth and loft it could also be treated as a chunky with 3.5 sts/1" on a US 10.

Care: Hand wash, dry flat.

The Naturals are "Arequipa" (brown/tan/cream colors), "Barranca" (black/gray/white colors), and "Cusco" (an array of all the natural colors). The other colorways are all hand dyed versions of these 3 naturals. The warm shades (#01-06) are dyed over Arequipa (browns & tans) and the cool shades (#07-12) are dyed over Barranca (black & gray). Please note that each skein knits up in its own unique way
